Glan Y Don (with panoramic sea views). Sleeps 6. Moelfre, Anglesey
The location of this property takes some beating - situated opposite the pretty pebbled beach at Moelfre, Glan Y Don is truely unique. The village of Moelfre is on the South East coast of Anglesey and boasts a wonderful pub, restaurant and beach side cafe plus interesting shops selling arts and crafts. The area is popular with walkers due to it's impressive views of Snowdonia from the coastal footpath and the dramatic sandy beach and 12th century ruins at Ligwy make it an ideal destination for a family day out. There's a wealth of local maritime history at the Seawatch Centre plus the 'state of the art' working lifeboat station which are within easy walking distance of the cottage. Glan Y Don itself is a holiday home full of character, the kitchen, living room and 2 downstairs bedrooms have fantastic sea views and the cosy living area is bright and homley.
