Unlike other larger agencies, we are familiar with all of our featured holiday homes and their locations and can therefore find the ideal holiday let to suit your needs.  Our ethos is to provide a tailor made service that is unique to each customer.  We understand that a holiday isn't just about the property it's about the quality of experience and value for money - that's why we have a wealth of happy customers returning time and time again.

The Old Stable and Rose Cottage are owned by the founders of True Retreats; Andy and Emily Gearing.

"Having successfully managed our own self catering holiday cottages for the last 6 years we know the high standards that are required for 4 or 5 star holiday rentals. We have strict criteria when adding properties to our portfolio and pride ourselves on attention to detail.  We therefore offer a consultation and design service to our owners so that each property feels like a stylish ‘home from home’.

Over the last few years we have built up a great team and now work in association with local companies to ensure that property owners and guests alike have peace of mind that accommodation is cleaned and maintained to exacting standards.  Each property will be checked  prior to arrival and you will be contacted by a representative to confirm that everything is to your satisfaction.  We make every attempt to provide as indulgent a stay as possible from the sumptuous furnishings to the quality of the fixtures and fittings of all properties.  We also appreciate that sometimes it can be the personal little touches that make all the difference so welcome hampers, wine, flowers, bathrobes or luxury toiletries are provided to make your stay feel extra special.

Not only do we feature cottages to the highest standards in some of the most breathtaking locations but we also have a range of activities available  from private chefs, food delivery service, babysitting, spa pampering, horse riding, fishing, scuba diving, golfing, kite surfing, cycle hire…..the list is endless.  We will happily book individual activities for you prior to you arrival or put some activity packages together based on your personal requirements.  We can even arrange transport to and from your chosen destination to ensure that your every need is met and your holiday is truly something special.
