The location of this property takes some beating - situated opposite the pretty pebbled beach at Moelfre, Glan Y Don is truely unique.  The village of Moelfre is on the South East coast of Anglesey and boasts a wonderful pub, restaurant and beach side cafe plus interesting shops selling arts and crafts.  The area is popular with walkers due to it's impressive views of Snowdonia from the coastal footpath and the dramatic sandy beach and 12th century ruins at Ligwy make it an ideal destination for a family day out.  There's a wealth of local maritime history at the Seawatch Centre plus the 'state of the art' working lifeboat station which are within easy walking distance of the cottage.  Glan Y Don itself is a holiday home full of character, the kitchen, living room and 2 downstairs bedrooms have fantastic sea views and the cosy living area is bright and airy.  The galleried landing makes a perfect reading room and is an ideal 'grown up' space.

Hendre, Sleeps 6, Cemaes Bay, Anglesey

This luxury bungalow is set on a quiet development tucked away in the pretty seaside  village of Cemaes Bay.  The property is a 5 minute walk from the village which won 'Wales in Bloom in 2007 and 2008' and has a wealth of interesting shops, galleries and a craft centre with cafe plus 3 great pubs which serve food.  In addition there's an award winning fish and chip shop which we can highly recommend!  The picturesque harbour is in the heart of the community and offers boat charter and fishing opportunites and the beautiful family friendly sandy beach is sheltered by the rugged hill tops of the Coastal Footpath which winds it's way around Anglesey.  The area is popular with birdwatchers and nature lovers due to the numerous nature reserves dotted around the Island and there's also a Tern colony at close by Cemlyn.   'Hendre' is a perfect example of a modern, luxury property.  The quality of fixtures and fittings are to the highest standards giving it an indulgent feel .  The light, airy, open plan nature of the property makes it an ideal holiday retreat for those who prioritise comfort and cleanliness.   The immaculate presentation and attention to detail are second to none.

The surrounding vicinity has been designated as an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and Church Bay is 1 of only 6 beaches on Anglesey that hold the Blue Flag Award (15 minutes walk). The Heritage Coast footpath runs along the cliff-tops and offers excellent bird-watching and walking opportunities. The Church Bay Inn and The Lobster Pot restaurant are approximately 15-minutes walk away.  Shops, take-aways etc. at Llanfeuthlu are only 5 minutes drive away.  Once the original barns to the attached farmhouse, the cottages have been recently converted to a very high standard and every attempt has been made to keep the traditional character making them ideal retreats for a romantic break.
