Glan Y Don (with panoramic sea views). Sleeps 6. Moelfre, Anglesey
The location of this property takes some beating - situated opposite the pretty pebbled beach at Moelfre, Glan Y Don is truely unique. The village of Moelfre is on the South East coast of Anglesey and boasts a wonderful pub, restaurant and beach side cafe plus interesting shops selling arts and crafts. The area is popular with walkers due to it's impressive views of Snowdonia from the coastal footpath and the dramatic sandy beach and 12th century ruins at Ligwy make it an ideal destination for a family day out. There's a wealth of local maritime history at the Seawatch Centre plus the 'state of the art' working lifeboat station which are within easy walking distance of the cottage. Glan Y Don itself is a holiday home full of character, the kitchen, living room and 2 downstairs bedrooms have fantastic sea views and the cosy living area is bright and airy. The galleried landing makes a perfect reading room and is an ideal 'grown up' space.

Rhyd - Annharad (with sea views & hot tub). Sleeps 6. Rhydwyn, Nr Church Bay, Anglesey
This wonderful farmhouse conversion is set on a hill top location with panoramic sea and countryside views. The property is on the outskirts of the small rural village of Rhydwyn and is only a 5 minute walk to the Church Bay Inn and a 10 minute walk to Church Bay beach, Wavecrest Cafe and Lobster Pot Restaurant. The heritage coastal footpath runs along the cliff-tops and offers wonderful bird watching opportunities. The house has some unique features from the reclaimed slate splash-back behind the range in the kitchen to the parquet flooring in the living room and hand carved wooden beams above the inglenook, and log burning stove. The arched window in the vestibule makes a lovely welcoming feature and the rustic furntiure adds to the traditional farmhouse feel .
